Roberto Galvez

Roberto Galvez founded OIP in 2017. As a software developer, Roberto Galvez has over twenty (20) years of experience working in local government and fifteen (15) years of experience implementing technology solutions for local government, eight (8) of which were working for a county-operated animal shelter. While employed with Broward County Government, Roberto Galvez designed, developed, and deployed several enterprise level applications using low-cost open innovative approaches. During his time of employment at the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Division, he designed, developed, and deployed several animal services applications such as the Broward County Animal Virtual Kennel, Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Pet Owner Portal, and Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Informational Dashboard. Mr. Galvez currently holds a master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the University of West Florida.

Jorge McGarry

Jorge McGarry has over 20 years in the information technology field and is an operating partner of OIP since 2018. He has over ten (10) years of experience working with local government, delivering solutions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) field for the Procurement, Project Management Office (PMO), Office of Management & Budget (OMB), Accounting, Records Taxes & Treasury (RTT), and Animal Control offices, to name a few.  

Jorge McGarry holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution, both with distinction. The most recent roles he has served was that of Software Architect, Software Manager and Lead Developer to several organizations across Florida. His experience includes the latest in knowledge of Microservices, Cloud, Containerization, CI / CD, DevOps, Security Architecture, Agile and best programming practices. 

Heather Galvez

Heather Galvez has nine (9) years of experience in the public sector. In local government she held tenures in Parks and Recreation; Records, Taxes, & Treasury; and the Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services. Prior to her career in the public sector, she worked in the medical field for over 10 years.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Public Administration, and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, all obtained from the University of Central Florida.
